So it looks like my tournament schedule for the next couple of months finalized. Doha at the end of the month, and then the Australian open... It's still hard to believe that it's actually happening. Here's hoping I'm prepared enough.

...Unfortunately, though, it looks like I'll be missing both New Years and the Coming of Age Ceremony. Mom and Dad say it's fine, but I can tell they're bummed out. I need to think of a way to make it up to them, but I'm really not sure what to do. I have so little free time between now and the tournaments...

Sen-nii, Nike is letting me bring a guest along with me to my first couple tournaments. I was wondering... I mean, I know you hate flying, but could you come with? I know it's a busy time of year and you probably have plans with your boyfriends, but... yeah. You're the one that got me started on tennis. It would mean a lot to me if you could be there with me, at least for my first pro tournament.

It's okay if you can't, though.

Don't forget that it's summer in the southern hemisphere. You'll want to bring sunscreen.

Yeah, yeah, I know. It's just easy for me to forget it, because I don't burn. You'll have to help me remember to put it on regularly.

I can do that. It'll be nice to be somewhere warm. I'm tired of the cold weather already, and it's barely started.

That is one of the good things about being on the tennis circuit. Warmer weather.

Yeah, the circuit seems to follow the warm weather. Tennis in a snowstorm seems like it could be fun too, though.
